Trade 2 - Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse for Golf Balls

If this is your first visit, please check out My First Post, and the Mission Details to find out what MissionToTrade is all about!

The word of my mission seems to now be spreading around work (and little by little around the Internet too). The manager of the IT Support Centre spoke to me today and let me know that he had a Microsoft Wired Desktop 500 Keyboard and Mouse set that he was willing to trade. The keyboard is brand new (only taken out of the box once), but it turns out that although the Mouse is USB, the keyboard is PS2 only. However so that this is not a problem I have tucked into the box a PS2 to USB converter so this won’t be an issue for the person who decides to trade for it.

The keyboard has an array of hotkeys including audio control, one touch email, calculator and My Computer keys, and the has a Spill-Resistant design. And the Optical Mouse is comfortable for either left or right handed people. For the full details please see this Technical Sheet PDF.

Here are a couple of pictures I have taken:

So, now we have a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse set on offer. So far we have gone from a $3 Diet Coke, to a $13.99 Pack of Golf Balls, to a $39.95 Keyboard and Mouse Set. Not bad for only the first week on the mission.

This is a great item to jump on board and grab, somehow I don’t think it will be around all that long at this rate. So if you are interested and want a nice new keyboard and mouse get in touch with me via the Contact Me Page.

So while we are here, tell me your thoughts, how do you think I am doing so far and what sort of items would you like to see me trade for?

Stuart ;)

Good luck, Stuart. I have just posted about your quest.
I tried to comment via Firefox but the Post Comment button was showing as a blank text box. I am posting this via IE. Not sure if it just a memory problem with my Firefox but thought you should know.

I had trouble leaving a comment using Firefox - the Post Comment Button was just showing up as a blank text box. I am using IE for this. Could be just a memory problem with my Firefox but thought I should let you know in case you are missing out on comments because of it.

So if you traded a diet coke for gold balls, that title is correct. If you traded the golf balls to get the keyboards, the title should be “Trade 2: Golf Balls for Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse”.

    Hi John
You know that is really interesting that you mention that. I thought about that after I posted and thought I got that around the wrong way LOL.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions hehe I will keep it in mind for the future.
